Links Meridian runs a US golf operation from one login: the tee sheet, the pro shop and F&B tills, member billing, reporting and a nightly sync to QuickBooks Online. Daily-fee, private, municipal or resort, it replaces a tee sheet from one vendor and a restaurant POS from another.
The US golf software market is fragmented: ForeUP for daily-fee, Jonas for private clubs, Lightspeed for retail-heavy operations, and GolfNow for courses willing to trade tee times for software. Club Prophet sells online reservations, member billing and food and beverage as add-on products to its core POS and tee sheet. A course often ends up with two systems or more, and someone reconciles them by hand at the end of every day.
Links Meridian puts the whole operation on one database. The tee sheet handles daily-fee and private-club workflows on the same engine. The pro shop POS scans barcodes, and the F&B POS runs in any phone or tablet browser and fires orders to the kitchen display. Member billing covers automated invoices, house accounts, statements members download as a PDF, and F&B minimums with any shortfall billed at the end of the period. Full GL, AP and AR are built in, and if your accountant keeps QuickBooks Online, Links Meridian sends it a balanced journal for each day, or the individual invoices, bills and payments, every night at the hour you choose or on demand.
Sales tax handles the multi-state reality of US operations in the ten states we cover: each state's rate and golf rules come from its published guidance, tax posts to a liability account rather than revenue, and a report breaks it down by jurisdiction for your accountant. Online, golfers book on a site branded to the course, buy gift cards that redeem at every register, and enter tournaments with a card payment.
Each tier's features come with no per-module fees: member billing and the Digital Clubhouse member app from Standard; the pro shop and F&B tills, tournaments, accounting and the QuickBooks Online sync from Professional; marketing automation and your own domain on Enterprise. For private clubs on Jonas, that is member billing, F&B and accounting in a mobile-first interface with published pricing. For daily-fee courses on ForeUP, it replaces the marketing, accounting and member tools bolted on around the booking core. How much does it cost?
Pricing is published: Starter $99, Standard $299, Professional $749 and Enterprise $1,799 a month, or 20% less billed annually, with no per-module fees within a tier. Member billing comes with Standard; the pro shop and F&B tills, accounting and the QuickBooks Online sync come with Professional. After your demo we set your club up for you and give you the login. No fee until you go live.
We run a tee sheet and a separate restaurant POS. Can one system replace both?
Yes. From Professional, the tee sheet, the pro shop POS and the F&B POS share one database: floor plans, orders fired to the kitchen display, and the same gift cards and member accounts at every register. The F&B POS runs in any phone or tablet browser, and every sale lands in the same daily close and the same ledger as green fees.
Does it work with QuickBooks Online?
Yes, on Professional. Links Meridian keeps its own general ledger and sends QuickBooks Online either a balanced journal for each day or the individual invoices, bills and payments, every night at the hour the club picks or on demand, so nobody re-keys the numbers. It refuses a QuickBooks company whose home currency differs from the club's, and each run is kept in a sync history.
How does multi-state sales tax work?
A club's address sets its state. In Pennsylvania, Florida, California, Texas, New York, Ohio, Michigan, Illinois, North Carolina and Colorado, the state rate and the golf rules, such as whether green fees and dues are taxed, come from that state's published guidance. A club elsewhere, or one with a local rate on top, sets its own combined rate, and any club can override the rate on individual items. Tax is added at checkout and posted to a liability account, never to revenue, and the sales tax by jurisdiction report reconciles it to the ledger for your accountant to file. County and city rates are not shown as separate lines today, and exemption certificates are not tracked.
We are on Club Prophet or ForeUP. What is the migration like?
Migration is free on every plan. We import your members and their account balances with you through a staged upload with a dry run before anything is committed, and rollback if something looks wrong. Does it post handicaps to GHIN?
No. Links Meridian does not post scores to GHIN, so golfers keep posting their scores there as they do today. World Handicap System scoring is built in: course and playing handicaps from each golfer's Handicap Index, and allowances by format for your competitions.
What about California and the CCPA/CPRA?
California compliance is built in: data subject access requests, deletion, opt-out of sale and opt-out of profiling are all handled, and the Privacy Policy includes the disclosures California requires. The same applies to Virginia, Colorado, Connecticut, Utah, Texas, Oregon and Montana.
Can we run a private club and a daily-fee course on one instance?
Yes. Both workflows run on the same tee sheet engine with separate rules, pricing, restrictions and member tiers, a setup that suits hybrid operations and multi-course portfolios.
