A daily-fee course often runs two systems that do not talk to each other: a tee sheet from one vendor and a restaurant point of sale from another. Staff re-key the grill's takings at the end of the day, a gift card bought at one counter will not redeem at the other, and the month-end numbers come from two exports joined in a spreadsheet. Switch on the card guarantee for a course and visitors save a card when they book, with a no-show fee and, if you want one, a late-cancel fee stated before they confirm. After the round, checked-in visitors can be asked for a review on the site of your choice, and every booking carries the course scorecard as a PDF. Yes. It runs in any phone or tablet browser, and card readers at the till take chip, contactless and tap. The grill's takings land in the same daily close and the same ledger as green fees.
Does it work with QuickBooks Online?
Yes, on Professional. Links Meridian keeps its own general ledger and sends QuickBooks Online either a balanced journal for each day or the individual invoices, bills and payments, every night at the hour the course picks or on demand. The sync runs from Links Meridian to QuickBooks, so nobody re-keys the numbers. The QuickBooks Online integration page has the detail.
We currently use GolfNow. What changes?
You stop trading tee times for software. Bookings come through the course's own site instead of a marketplace, you keep every tee time, and the customer records are yours. Data migration is free on every plan, covering members, households, dues schedules, handicap indexes and opening balances, and your current system stays live until you sign off. Can we accept walk-ups and online bookings on the same tee sheet?
Yes. Online, phone and walk-up bookings go through the same data model and sit together on the same visual tee sheet. Walk-ups pay by card, cash or rain check at the pro shop POS.
How does dynamic pricing work?
On Enterprise, you set rules: weekday and weekend, time-of-day bands, weather adjustments, and occupancy-based surcharges or discounts. The platform applies them automatically, and you can override the price of a specific slot for a tournament or event. The pricing engine also recommends adjustments based on real demand, and you decide which to take. Rate cards by day, season and holiday come with Professional.
What about the busy Saturday morning rush?
The platform targets sub-second p95 page loads and 99.95% monthly uptime. The tee sheet runs over a real-time WebSocket layer, so staff devices stay in sync without polling and two people cannot book the same slot.
