Canadian golf runs on a tight calendar. The season is short, spring and fall bring frost delays, and much of a club's revenue arrives before the first tee time as season passes and dues. Links Meridian treats that as the normal case: seasons and holidays on the rate card, frost delays on the tee sheet, and season passes accounted for as a liability the club earns over the term.
The tee sheet, pro shop and F&B tills, a general ledger with AP and AR, and the Digital Clubhouse member app share one login and one bill. The club's base currency is the Canadian dollar and prices display before tax. You set the club's sales-tax rate at setup, GST by default, and add category-specific rates for items taxed differently; every sale posts its tax to a liability account, never to revenue. Card payments run at standard published rates, paid into the club's own account, with Apple Pay, Google Pay and card readers at the till.
Season passes are sold at the desk from the member record. Links Meridian defers the payment and recognises it one month at a time over the term, a pass can be paused and resumed for the off-season, and a pass that includes the cart waives the cart fee on the holder's own booking. Memberships that start mid-season get a prorated first dues charge. Through the winter, the Digital Clubhouse keeps members connected with Course Records, the Honours Board and a club feed, and each club gets its own branded iOS and Android app.

How much does Links Meridian cost for a Canadian club?
Links Meridian publishes every tier: Starter $99, Standard $299, Professional $749 and Enterprise $1,799 a month, or 20% less billed annually, with no per-module fees within a tier. Tee-On has no public price and quotes after a sales call (checked 14 September 2026). Does Links Meridian handle Canadian sales tax?

What happens on a frost delay?
Staff set the delayed start time for the course and day. Links Meridian changes the course status to frost delay with the staff note so members see it, holds bookings before the new start, and shows staff how many confirmed bookings fall before it so those players can be moved. Lifting the delay reopens the course.
Does Links Meridian calculate handicaps?
Yes. Links Meridian holds each member's official WHS Handicap Index with its revision history, and calculates course and playing handicaps, with allowances by format, for competitions. Each member profile holds the golfer's Golf Canada ID. Handicaps and tournaments come with the Professional plan.
