Many UK clubs run BRS Golf, ClubV1 or intelligentgolf for the tee sheet and competitions, keep the books in QuickBooks or Xero, and send newsletters from a separate email tool. BRS Core covers the tee sheet, a till and a member wallet, but it has no general ledger, so the accounts live somewhere else and someone reconciles the two.
Links Meridian puts all of it on one system. The tee sheet updates live on every screen and handles ballots, waiting lists and society bookings. Dues go out on schedule, and members pay by Bacs Direct Debit or card, with an advance notice email before each collection. The pro shop and bar run on the same tills, and every sale posts to a double-entry ledger with VAT set inclusive or exclusive, the 20% standard rate, and reduced or zero rates by category. Competitions cover medal, Stableford, match play knockouts, Chapman and skins, with course and playing handicaps, allowances by format, live scoring and TV leaderboards. The Digital Clubhouse comes with Standard; tills, competitions, handicaps and full accounting come with Professional.
Members get the Digital Clubhouse: booking, statements, the Honours Board, Course Records, season standings and a club feed with posts, reactions and replies. Each club also gets its own branded iOS and Android app, built and published under the club's name. How much does Links Meridian cost for a UK club?
Links Meridian publishes every tier: Starter $99, Standard $299, Professional $749 and Enterprise $1,799 a month, or 20% less billed annually, with no per-module fees within a tier. UK clubs are billed in pounds. BRS Golf's paid tiers have no public price and are quoted after a sales call (checked 14 September 2026), and BRS Payments charges 2.9% + £0.05 per domestic card. After your demo we set your club up for you and give you the login. No fee until you go live.
Can we move from BRS Golf to Links Meridian?
Yes. Your BRS system stays live until you sign off the go-live date for Links Meridian, so the club is never without a tee sheet. Migration is free on every plan: staged upload, AI-assisted field mapping, a dry run before anything is committed, and rollback.
How does VAT work in Links Meridian?
You set VAT up once at club setup: inclusive or exclusive display, the 20% standard rate, and reduced or zero rates for specific item categories. Every sale posts its VAT to a liability account in the general ledger, never to revenue, and Links Meridian computes the nine HMRC VAT return boxes from the ledger for any date range, ready for your accountant.
Does Links Meridian handle WHS handicaps?
Yes. Links Meridian holds each member's WHS Handicap Index with its revision history, and calculates course and playing handicaps, with allowances by format, for medal, Stableford, match play, Chapman and skins competitions. Scores do not post from Links Meridian to any home union today: official sync needs a licence from each union. Our Golf Ireland licence is pending. England Golf, Scottish Golf and Wales Golf each need their own licence, which we will seek later. Until a club's union licence lands, members submit their scores the way they do now, through the union's app or your current handicap system, and each member's index comes across in the member import. Sync switches on for each union when its licence lands. Handicaps and competitions come with the Professional plan.
Can members pay their subscriptions by Direct Debit?
Yes. Links Meridian collects membership dues by Bacs Direct Debit. A member sets up the mandate once, dues collect on the schedule the club sets, and each member gets an advance notice email before a collection. Members who prefer card, Apple Pay or Google Pay can use those, and every payment posts to the same ledger. Automated dues come with the Standard plan.
What about Northern Ireland clubs that deal in pounds and euros?
Each club chooses its base currency at setup, pounds or euros, and every price, invoice and ledger entry runs in it. The Links Meridian subscription is billed in pounds or euros too, and the pricing page shows every tier in your currency. Links Meridian is built in Northern Ireland, so cross-border questions are familiar ones.
