The ClubV1 alternative with every price published
Links Meridian, golf club management software for UK and Irish clubs, is a ClubV1 alternative that runs the tee sheet, the tills, a double-entry ledger and each club's own member app on one system, with every price published. ClubV1 is sold at four product levels, none priced on its pages, by Club Systems, part of ClearCourse since 2022.
ClubV1 covers membership and subscription management with a connection to WHS handicap publication, a tee sheet, an EPOS system, WHS and competition management, and events (Club Systems, ClubV1). Bar, restaurant and retail tills run on CloudPOS, which takes swipe or contactless member cards, cash and credit or debit cards (Club Systems). ClubV1 is sold at four product levels, Entry, Management, Premium and Ultimate, and email marketing is included from Management (up to 10,000 a month; unlimited under fair use on Premium and Ultimate) (Club Systems, ClubV1).
Club Systems was established in 1982 and says more than 2,000 UK and Irish golf clubs have installed one or more of its packages (Club Systems, about us). ClearCourse acquired Club Systems International in September 2022 (The Golf Business, September 2022), and intelligentgolf is part of ClearCourse too (intelligentgolf, part of ClearCourse). The Golf Business (4 March 2026) put clubs using Club Systems or intelligentgolf at around 80 percent of UK and Irish golf clubs. ClearCourse's HowDidiDo app, version 1.0 released on 5 December 2025, combines HowDidiDo, ClubV1 Members Hub and igMember functionality into one platform, and its listing shows in-app purchases at £2.99 and £9.99 (App Store, HowDidiDo).
Links Meridian runs the operation on one database: a real-time tee sheet with waitlist, online booking on every tier, member billing from Standard, and from Professional the pro shop and F&B tills, tournaments with live scoring and a double-entry ledger with AP, AR and period close, with a nightly QuickBooks Online and Xero sync for clubs that keep an outside ledger. Bacs Direct Debit collects UK dues, and each club gets its own branded iOS and Android app.
Handicaps need a plain answer. ClubV1 connects to WHS handicap publication (Club Systems, ClubV1). Links Meridian's official WHS sync is built but stays switched off until the home union licence is signed, so today Links Meridian does not submit scores to WHS or receive handicap updates from it. Until then, each member's Handicap Index comes across in the member import with their CDH number, and every changed index is kept as a dated revision. The importer recognises a ClubV1 member export by its columns.
Club Systems shows no price on the ClubV1 pages (checked 10 October 2026). Links Meridian publishes every tier, from Starter at $99 to Enterprise at $1,799 a month, with no per-module fees within a tier. Data migration is free on every plan, and ClubV1 stays live until you sign off on Links Meridian.
