Club tech check
Type your club's website and see how a golfer books there: the booking link, visitor booking, phones, green fees and https. Free, in under 20 seconds.
Not ready to type an address?
We read public pages only and keep no copy of the site. There is no public page of results: the findings show on your screen and in any email you ask for.
Common questions
What does the club tech check look at?
Five things a golfer meets when they try to book: a link to book a tee time online, whether visitors can book and not only members, whether the page with the booking link is set up for phones, whether green fees are published with a price, and whether the site and its booking link use https. It also says where booking happens: on the club's own site, on the booking system's site, or on a marketplace.
What does "could not read" mean?
A page did not load for our check in time, or the site asked automated checks not to read it. We say so rather than guess, so a page we could not read is never reported as missing.
Do you keep a copy of my club's website?
No. We read public pages only, follow the site's robots.txt, and keep no copy of the site. We keep what the check found for 7 days so we can email the report if you ask for it.
Who sees the result?
There is no public page of results. The findings show on your screen, and in an email only if you ask for one, sent to the address you give.
