Common questions

What does the Club Digital Maturity Scorecard measure?

It assesses your club across six dimensions: member experience and self-service, digital community and engagement, competitions and handicaps, system integration, data and board visibility, and commercial (POS, F&B and revenue). Twelve questions, about three minutes, and you get a score out of 100 with a Traditional, Transitioning or Modern band.

How is the score worked out?

Each dimension is scored from your answers and normalised to a 0 to 100 scale. The dimensions are then combined with weightings to give your overall score. Member experience and system integration count slightly more, because they are the biggest drivers of value and the most common reasons clubs change systems.

What is the benchmark based on?

The UK average shown on your radar is a transparently-labelled informed estimate for members' clubs, seeded from public sources such as the R&A, England Golf and the KPMG Golf Benchmark. It is refined over time as more clubs complete the check, so every completed scorecard makes the benchmark more accurate.

Is my score private?

Yes. Your headline score is shown to you on screen.
